We need an amazing team of volunteers to make the festival a success. Whether you would like to give up a couple of hours during festival week or are interested in taking on more responsibilities that gives you experience for your CV, we would love to hear from you!


We are on the lookout for design volunteers to transform everyday spaces into moon themed, star lit, wonder nests.


We think good ideas come from places where different cultures meet and we want this concept to be at the heart of Moon Festival. To make it happen we need to capture Woolwich’s stories about the Moon and we need your help to do it. So if learning more about collecting stories from communities and interviewing all kinds of people sounds like fun, then this is the opportunity for you.


On Friday 19th July, Moon Festival is hosting a night-time street party in the heart of Woolwich, and we need your help. Become a creative producer and learn how to put on events at night in this free course brought to you by Moon Festival and Emergency Exit Arts. From learning how to commission work and plan events, to bookings artists and delivering a night of entertainment, this course will help you become a player in London’s artistic night-life.


Moon Festival is looking for a film maker with an exceptional vision to make our key pice of video content. The job comes with intensive mentoring from BBC Future Experience Technologies’ Creative Producer Mark Fothergill.
