Moon Festival is proud to partner with the High Commission of Canada to bring you to the first ever digital Moon Festival. Expect a month of digital content celebrating the brightest rock in the sky and its relationship to contemporary Canadian culture, with original content as well as existing work across film, theatre, visual art, scientific exploration and more.
Moon Festival is a celebration of all things lunar across time and cultures through digital activities, events, social research and community engagement. Our first sold-out programme offered our 3,500 visitors a kaleidoscopic range of events including a keynote speech by Margaret Atwood, a midnight run with Inua Ellams, a comedy set by Helen Lederer, a late night cabaret hosted by London Night Czar Amy Lamé, a street party inspired by stories about the moon, to name a few.
